Nicole Ari Parker (born Nicole Ari Parker) is an American actress, who is employed in television, film and theatre. Following her graduation from high school Contractor received a scholarship from the University of Toronto to pursue the dual field of sociology and psychology. Additionally, she earned a master's degree in Theater. Contractor was offered the lead character in Pericles after a one-year stint in University. The audition was held for the part at Stratford Shakespeare Festival (Ontario Canada) and received. She received rave reviews for her performances in the 92 shows performed this play, which was named"the best show of 2002" by Canadian critics in 2002. She was given the chance to enroll in the Stratford Conservatory. The school accepts only eight men and four women for a crash course in classical theater. Contractor was ecstatically accepted. Contractor got a confirmed spot for the following season. She was also offered the part as Hermia.
